MEET OUR CROSSFIT AND WEIGHT TRAINING COACHES
I have been a competitive runner all my life and was a High School Track and Field athlete in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay sprint events. I began competing in endurance races, marathons in 2008-present. In 2009, focused on triathlons, competing in distances from Sprint to Olympic and in 2011, completed a 1/2 IRONMAN distance. I found CrossFit in late 2009, and integrated it with my training regimen. CrossFit helped me improve my performance by making me a more well-rounded athlete.
I began coaching athletes in Fundamentals classes and CrossFit in early 2010. In 2011, I ventured into the sport of CrossFit Competitions. I have dedicated myself to sharing the knowledge and passion I have for running and Fitness to anyone interested in living a healthier life.

My name is Alec Adkins and I began Crossfit when I was 12 years old as a way to stay in shape for baseball. What I discovered was Crossfit was so much more that just a way to exercise. I was drawn to the healthy lifestyle, the varied movements, the sense of community, and the constant goal of self improvement. Over the years, I have competed in many Crossfit Kids competitions to include a
teen competition at the 2013 Crossfit Games. In 2016, I became a Crossfit Level 1 certified coach because I enjoy teaching and coaching others. It provides me with tremendous satisfaction to assist others in reaching their fitness goals by improving their understanding of proper technique and movement.
I am a work at home mom just trying to lead by example and maintain a healthy active life. I am able to achieve this by participating in CrossFit, while trying to balance home and work life. In 2011, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology as a fitness specialist. I have always enjoyed working out, but was always missing something from my daily routine.
I found that missing piece in CrossFit. It benefits not only the physical being, but also positively benefits the mind as well. CrossFit has made me confident, stronger, and faster than any point in my life. I really enjoy working out with a community that cheers you on to meet your goals. I have met the best of people doing CrossFit.
CrossFit isn’t just a workout, it’s a way of life.
Jusilla Bridgemon has been involved in sports most of her life. She played softball in her youth, and ran track during high school. It wasn’t until after high school when she joined the United States Navy where she soon fell in love with fitness. Jusilla soon took charge as the command fitness leader for her last two years serving active duty. Four years and one deployment later she was honorably discharged as a Third Class Petty Officer. Once leaving the United States Navy she was constantly searching for new ways to be challenged. She received her CF-L1, and soon completed her CF-L2 course. It was during this training that she discovered how much she truly enjoyed coaching and was immediately hooked. Over the last two years that Jusilla has been active with Crossfit she has competed in many local competitions while pursuing her bachelors in kinesiology.
